  Meccah, or Makkah is the village where Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) was born. In Makkah there's the Ka'aba, to where all Muslims pilgrimage and face in their Prayers. The Ka'aba is the first mosque on Earth.

  Madinah, it's the town where Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) associated the first Islamic society, after they left Makkah. In Madinah there's "Almasjed Alnabawi", or the Prophet's Mosque.
